FORTUNE ranks ADP #1 in category for most admired companies
ADP, a leading provider of payroll and HR services, is the most admired financial data services company, according to FORTUNE magazine’s annual survey of the World’s Most Admired Companies. ADP posted the highest average industry ranking and was rated first in the categories of Financial Soundness, Long-Term Investment and Use of Corporate Assets. The Most Admired Companies List is the definitive report card on corporate reputations.
"We are honoured to be ranked as the top financial data services company by our peers," said Gary Butler, President and CEO of ADP. "This prominent recognition is a testament to the individual and team contributions of all our associates who work tirelessly to maximise their potential, resulting in superior service and innovative solutions for our clients.”
This is the fifth consecutive year that ADP has been recognised in FORTUNE’s Most Admired Companies survey. This year, ADP attained the top spot in its industry after being ranked second in 2009.
FORTUNE magazine partners with Hay Group to conduct the annual survey of executives, directors, and analysts who are asked to rate 1,400 companies on nine key attributes of reputation. Only the top five companies in each industry category are ranked as the “most admired” companies. The World’s Most Admired Companies survey results are featured in the March 22 issue of FORTUNE.
