Where a client has given approval, their Accountant can be allocated a secure login allowing access to their clients’ ADP payroll reporting. The level of control maintained by the client over their payroll is dependent on the Accountant Client relationship. Following are three broad levels of Accountant Client relationships:

  • Accountant oversees payroll with minimal day-to-day involvement – access to Accountant is limited to their client’s payroll reporting to assist in answering enquiries
  • Accountant actively involved in their client’s payroll processing – Accountant is assigned access as a key contact along with the client
  • Accountant has total control and responsibility for their client’s payroll processing and reporting

ADP is flexible enough for Accountants to easily oversee and manage their clients’ payroll, or have minimal involvement – whatever suits their needs.
